Expertise

Engineering, design, review/analysis, inspection, and testing of fire suppression, fire alarm, mechanical systems, process piping, pumps, and life safety systems.

Preparation of inspection reports for fire sprinkler systems, standpipes, underground piping, water supply systems, fire pumps and appurtenances, clean agent systems, fire alarm systems, and smoke control systems.

Review/design specifications and variance applications in numerous jurisdictions for appropriate life-safety features, equipment, structural, and hazardous materials/processes for compliance with the intent of applicable codes and regulations, preparing recommendation letters for clients.

Leverage extensive experience in managing employees and technical contractors.

Oversee smoke control, design, rational analysis, fire alarm integration, report preparation, and peer review, utilizing computer CFD programs, application of Fire Dynamics Principals, and Egress Analysis

Provide technical training in aspects of engineering applications of fire prevention and fire inspection work.

Lead project management of fire systems installation, surveys, and written/oral communications with construction professionals, architects, engineers, owners, developers, and jurisdictional authorities.

Investigate and determining causes of fire system failure and prepare reports for clients/authorities.
